Construction Begins on Lumenpulse Group’s New Head Office and First Immersive Experience Center in Quebec

Lumenpulse Group is today celebrating the start of construction for its future head office in Longueuil, which will include an immersive experience center unique to the company. Attending the event were Longueuil's mayor, Caroline St-Hilaire, and a number of representatives from the business community.

"We're proud today to see the beginnings of a new innovation center for Lumenpulse, including our first immersive experience center in Quebec, a learning center for LED lighting. This new environment will encourage creativity in our teams and embody the image of our company and our products. With this new green building, we will be doubling our current space," said François-Xavier Souvay, President and CEO of Lumenpulse.

The new leased space, of more than 140,000 ft2 will house the Lumenpulse Group's existing manufacturing operations, a testing center, design and engineering activities as well as the Company's headquarters. By fall 2017, close to 300 employees will have moved into the new premises.

The building, set to be on Marie-Victorin Boulevard, which will be applying for LEED certification, will be built and owned by MONTONI, a leading expert in sustainable building, in collaboration with the architectural firm Lemay, the engineering firm Dupras Ledoux and the lighting design company Ombrages.

"We're especially proud to contribute to the success and advancement of Lumenpulse, a Quebec company, by starting work on its new head office. Our teams have pooled their expertise for this innovative project, which will meet the highest criteria for excellence in sustainable building, in keeping with the wishes of the company's management. With this building and its immersive experience center, Lumenpulse's employees will soon have access to a completely redesigned, state-of-the-art workplace that will pay tribute to their imagination," said Dario Montoni, President of MONTONI.

This major project is part of the continued expansion of the LED lighting company, whose sales have grown from $62 to $145 million over the past two years.
